Sunday 19th June saw the company perform the much anticipated gallery adaptation version of Mind The Gap. The audience were free to move and witness the performance between two art gallery spaces. Audience members likened the experience to watching work by companies such as DV8 with the explosiveness and raw nature of dance material in a close and intimate proximity to viewers. We would like to thank the directors and owners of the Chester Art Centre for their support with this project and all those who came and supported our performances.
On Monday 13th June 2016 the company journeyed to Much Wenlock, Shropshire for the first performance of 'Mind the Gap' as part of the Convocation of Bodies Dance Platform at Much Wenlock Festival.
We spent a fantastic few days at London Olympia for the 10th Edition of MOVE IT. It was a great opportunity for us to present our work and let people know who we are and what we offer to dancers on all levels. We were able to make connections with other organisations which with strongly benefit FiTA's network and potential collaborations on projects/events.
Over February 2015 we launched our brand new youth dance initiative, RE:Works Dance at Blacon High School, Chester. Offering a range of opportunities for aspiring young dancers to gain access to dance training.

Flash in the Attic Dance Theatre has been informed that our partnership with Brio Leisure at Northgate Arena will continue after a successful first year. This is fantastic news for the company having a home as Northgate Arena's Dance Company in Residence.
FITA extend their sincere thanks to Jon Kelly (General Manager) for his support over the past 12 months and future prospects of both organisations working together.
Auditions for Flash in the Attic Dance Theatre will take place in October. With the first performance on Friday 14th November at Innovations Platform.
As many of our followers will already know, the company's trip to the Internationale Tanzmasse in Düsseldorf was cancelled at the last minute due to National Dance Company Wales withdrawing from the trip, leaving ourselves and other organisations in a compromising position and unable to attend.
